Lovely piece. I'm a country boy and just can't stand city living. I lived in Oxford for a few years and would never go back. Now I'm in a suburb in Portsmouth that thankfully has lots of green and I'm much happier for it.
As an aside; since moving to the UK my barometer for heat has been when the skinny blokes start taking their shirts off. :p
Haha, I know what you mean. My barometer in London was when people started getting lobster red, from too much time outdoors without sunblock.
I now live in a small town and have grown used to the quiet life, but I miss sometimes what big cities can offer, especially these chances to watch human interaction.
I guess it's what you're used to. I always joke that I'm misanthropic, but I certainly don't like an overabundance of people. London is way too busy for me, and having grown up in Australia it feels very claustrophobic compared to Sydney or Melbourne.

I'm visiting São Paulo for 5 days and you probably wouldn't like it - over 10 million people!
Eeewww. Not for me at all
On the other hand, loads of stores with comics and collectibles! 😜
Guess I could suffer through the people then 🤓
